I am delighted to be collaborating with sustainable beekeepers and honey product makers Santa Barbara Hives to host a workshop for their community, to learn the foundations of handweaving and the practice of coming home to yourself.

In this two-hour workshop, you will discover a traditional craft, embrace the meditative quality of weaving and make one beautiful and useful handwoven potholder with single color loops of flax or ochre.
This project is perfect for beginners who are interested in connecting with their creativity. It is a wonderful opportunity for those who are interested in the beauty of weaving with cotton loops.

All participants will take home their loom with an extra set of loops. No craft experience is required. All are welcome.

The workshop will take place on Sunday, July 9th from 11.30am-1.30pm (PT) at Santa Barbara Hives:

Santa Barbara Hives
3328 State Street
Santa Barbara, CA 93105

The workshop costs $85 per person and includes a weaving kit, loops for the class and an extra set of loops to take home to continue your weaving journey. The kit is custom-made to the highest quality and its portability means you can use your hands to quiet your mind wherever you go.

I will bring your weaving kit to the workshop with me and very much look forward to introducing you to weaving.
