Design and Texture: The Next Step in Weaving on a Small Handloom Workshop with TIGEROWL

I am delighted to be collaborating once again with TIGEROWL to host a sequel workshop showcasing the next steps in developing your weaving work on a small loom.
In this two-hour workshop we’ll move beyond plain weave to explore a variety of techniques, including making and weaving with sock loops, split-loop weaving, floaters, and double-strand weaving. I will also talk about how to do a continuous weave with T-shirt yarn. These methods add texture, structure, and visual interest while building confidence on the loom.
This is a hands-on class that encourages curiosity, experimentation, and play. Perfect for those who are comfortable with the basic weaving skills and are ready to expand their techniques, this workshop is for weavers who have completed a beginner class and are ready to take the next step.
