This online class is perfect for people already familiar with handweaving on a square loom or who have taken one of my introductory weaving classes before.
You will already know the gratifying and contemplative feelings achieved through weaving on a handloom and creating your own potholders. Seeing my hand-crafted work around my home brings me so much joy and I hope you will join me for an online class to learn how to turn your weavings into a beautiful and functional basket. A brilliant way to use and display your work in a tangible way, the baskets can be used in many ways to compliment your living space.
This online class will give you time to focus on yourself and bring some much-needed peace and tranquility while creating a hand stitched and woven basket you can store utensils, stationery, paint brushes, even your weaving supplies! The possibilities and color and design combinations are endless.
The class can be either booked for a group or as a one-to-one session. All classes will be held via Zoom and will last 1.5 hours. To take part in the class you will need:
- Five 6 x 6 inch potholders
- Cotton warp yarn
- A tapestry needle
- Scissors
The class costs $40 for group session or $75 for a one-on-one session. If you need to top up your weaving supplies ahead of the class, don’t forget you can buy loops and scissors in my shop.
I look forward to working with you to create a basket for your home.
