I am delighted to welcome guest teacher Terri Frantz to join me for a fascinating online workshop on weaving on circular looms.
This is the ideal class for those who want to expand their weaving repertoire and are interested in the formation of pattern and designs on alternative looms. As Terri herself says:
I love “what ifs” and “rabbit holes”. Weaving has been a source of peace for my soul and a way to let my creative thoughts seek exciting new paths for my mind. It keeps my mind and hands busy.
I am excited to share one of my alternative paths with you on how you can create round potholder/trivet designs using a large round loom. Your designs can be symmetrical or asymmetrical and we will complete one design during the two hour workshop. We should also have time to discuss other alternative looms and weave patterns to help you develop your designs further.
The workshop will take place via Zoom on Saturday, January 24th 2026, 10am-12pm (PT) / 1-3pm (ET).
- A round loom for pro loops (Terri will have some available for purchase in advance, or this can be purchased at a range of other locations including Walmart, Hobby Lobby, Amazon, Cindwood. You are looking for either a 36 peg or 60 peg round loom)
- Scissors
- Crochet hook
- Weaving hook
- Pro-sized loops, approximately 70-80
If you aren't able to join the live workshop, don't forget that a recording of the class will also be provided after the event by email, for all paying attendees for you to watch at your leisure. This recording will also be available to purchase in the Workshop Recordings section of my website after the event.
