WWC Recording - Thinking Outside the Box (or Loom!) - With Linda Arandas

Originally recorded at the Weaving Way Community meeting in October 2024, we heard from Linda Arandas, who kindly showed us years worth of her out-of-the-box creativity and how to create inspiring works of fiber art beyond the loom.

She demonstrated what to do with leftover loops (creating pom poms, tassels, fringe for the edge of weavings, festive ornaments and more); how to embellish weavings with macrame, embroidery and cross stitch; how to weave on things other than a loom (including books, rocks and branches); weaving on an oversized loom with t-shirt fabric to make cushion covers, and how to take your weaving into nature and incorporate plants into your work as decoration. 

This is truly an inspirational and fulfilling session for anyone who loves to create fiber art - it's not to be missed!
