I am delighted to welcome guest teacher Terri Frantz to lead us in online workshop to learn how to create a “Quad Split Loop” design using a traditional loom.

An original design created by Terri, it is easily adaptable to a Pro loom. You will be guided step-by-step through the process and written instructions will be provided for both sizes. It has lots of rhythm and repetition that can be used in a two color pattern or you can use several colors to create a wonderfully unique layout.

The technique is lots of fun to do and offers a couple of creative ways to achieve it.

This is the perfect workshop for those already familiar with basic weaving techniques who would like to deepen their weaving experience and increase their knowledge of fiber crafts.

This is also a great follow up workshop to Terri's previous class, How to Create a Double Split Loops Weaving, which you can buy a recording of if you weren't able to join it live.

The workshop will take place via Zoom on Saturday, August 19th 2023, 10am-12pm (PT)

Cost per attendee: $50

Attendees will need to provide their own materials. To take part in this class, you will need:

- a traditional 18 peg loom
- 36 traditional size loops in the following colours for two different designs:

Palette 1: 18 white, 10 hydrangea, 4 powder blue, 4 lavender
Palette 2: 20 white, 4 yellow, 4 robin's egg blue, 4 carnation, 4 brt. green or lime

- Sharp scissors for trimming

The class will be held online via Zoom and we very much look forward to seeing you August 19th.  Details of how to access the workshop will be sent closer to the date.

A recording of the class will also be provided after the event by email, for all paying attendees.
