I was delighted to recently welcome Terri Frantz for this online workshop which taught students how to create a quad split loops weaving. Terri is a painter and ceramicist who has taught a raft of creative subjects to students, including principles of design, basket weaving and print making.

I am pleased to now offer an e-book of the potholder pattern, as well as a recording of the online workshop, the perfect visual partner to guide you through the steps to create your own version of the weaving.

An original design for a traditional loom created by Terri, it is easily adaptable to a Pro loom. You will be guided step-by-step through the process via both the written pattern and online workshop recording. It has lots of rhythm and repetition that can be used in a two color pattern or you can use several colors to create a wonderfully unique layout.

The technique is lots of fun to do and offers a couple of creative ways to achieve it.

This is the perfect workshop/pattern for those already familiar with basic weaving techniques who would like to deepen their weaving experience and increase their knowledge of fiber crafts.

This is also a great follow up workshop to Terri's previous class, How to Create a Double Split Loops Weaving, which you can buy a recording of if you weren't able to join it live.

To create the weaving from the pattern or workshop, you will need:
- a traditional 18 peg loom
- 36 traditional size loops in the following colours for two different designs:

Palette 1: 18 white, 10 hydrangea, 4 powder blue, 4 lavender
Palette 2: 20 white, 4 yellow, 4 robin's egg blue, 4 carnation, 4 brt. green or lime

- Sharp scissors for trimming
- Crochet hook for finishing
- Hook for pulling weft loops

Please note this is an e-pattern. An electronic version of the pattern will be sent to you by email upon purchase for you to print at home. If you have also purchased the recording of the workshop, a link to access it will be sent by email too.

Purchasing this workshop will provide you with a recording of the original online event, which you can save and watch as many times as you like.  Please note that workshop recordings are made available to the purchaser only and are not for resale, forwarding to others or sharing publicly in any way.
