Originally recorded at the Weaving Way Community meeting in October 2023, we heard from Jeff Atkins, who shared his process of taking inspiration from birds and flowers when considering color and weaving technique choices.

Using a somatic approach to weaving, Jeff showed us how he uses well-being practices and art techniques. His presentation explored mindfulness in motion as he weaves with the colors found on the feathers of birds and flower petals, combining large numbers of shades without distorting the pattern.
