Originally recorded at the Weaving Way Community meeting in March 2023, we heard from Brenda Hopkins who spoke with us about weaving with upcycled t-shirt material. I know for many of us who create that using materials which would otherwise have gone to waste is becoming more and more important. Not only does repurposing fibers help keep them from landfill, the design opportunities which open themselves up with using textiles 'new to you' are almost limitless, and help to make us more intuitive and thoughtful weavers.
