Originally recorded at the Weaving Way Community meeting in January 2025, we heard from fiber artist Sarah Haskell. As a seeker, maker and creative pathfinder her medium is most often thread, investigating the mystery of encoded fabrics and the hidden language of cloth.

Leaning into the importance of language in our work, Sarah takes a lot of time to name her weavings, and she took us through her process of finding the words to highlight her work. She also spoke about the words of a Navajo poem which holds significance for Sarah's viewpoint on her art, as well as how the spirit world informs her creativity.
