I am delighted to welcome guest teacher Terri Frantz to lead us in an online workshop to learn techniques to help you "ice the cake" and apply surface decoration to your finished weavings.

In this two hour class, she will guide you step by step as you create a sampler of loop embroidery techniques which will allow you to personalise and embellish your woven work with your own inspiration and designs.

As Terri notes:

"We have observed and experienced much in our lives that gives us the opportunity to be creative and express those moments through art, music and writing. My little loom has allowed me to reconnect with creativity and hands-on textural and visual art; the weaving becomes my canvas (cake) to embellish (icing) with many experimental surface techniques."

We hope you can join us for this interesting and creative class which will help take your work beyond the loom.

The workshop will take place via Zoom on Saturday, September 14th 2024, 10am-12pm (PT) / 1-3pm (ET).

Cost per attendee: $50

Attendees will need to provide their own materials. A full supply list will be provided when you have booked to take part. As a minimum, to take part in this class, you will need:

- Two prepared finished handweavings in Pro or traditional loom size (Terri will be demonstrating the techniques on a Pro-sized weaving.)
- A variety of coloured loops in Pro and traditional size, which are available in my online shop here

The class will be held online via Zoom and we very much look forward to seeing you September 14th.  Details of how to access the workshop will be sent closer to the date.

If you aren't able to join the live workshop, don't forget that a recording of the class will also be provided after the event by email, for all paying attendees for you to watch at your leisure. This recording will also be available to purchase in the Workshop Recordings section of my website after the event.
